I have always been intriqued by makeup, even when I was young. I remember when I was five and I got into my moms makeup drawer, putting on every product I could get my chubby fingers on. It definitely wasn't the best look for me. haha my mom was also NOT happy about the fact that I decided to wipe off all the makeup using her white towels. Let's just say from then on, her makeup drawer was off limits to me. But ever since then, I developed a fascination for makeup. :) Anyhoo, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jessica and I am of asian descent, 3/4 chinese and 1/4 mongolian. I named this blog Isnt{Shi}Lovely, as a play on my last name, which is Shi. I chose this name because I feel that every girl is beautiful and that makeup is just the celebration of our beauty. As Francois Nars said best, beauty is all about character and that unique quality each of us have. I hope to have this blog filled with fun entries that are both useful to newbies to makeup and intriquing for veterans of the makeup world. I will be making entries of product reviews, product swatches, different makeup dupes, tutorials, and much much more. I can't wait to venture on this journey, and I hope to be able to share this experience with each and every one of you.

ReplyDelete:) thanks girlie! I know right, I have school tomorrw (eek), first day of school, and the first thing I gotta do is change my schedule. I realized I have chosen way too many classes for me to handle, so I have to go and edit some of them. Also, stressing about sats because the first time I took it, I didnt do so good :/ lifes tough for a senior haha. :) what college do you go to? not trying to be nosy, but its always interesting to see what schools other ppl go 2.
